June 4, 2002 - The Pasta Supper was a success, we were able to raise over $500.00. You will probably noticed that the Birthdays have been updated. If there are any errors, or you know of any that are not listed, let me know and I will add them.

Search Engine Update: Several of the major search engines have picked us up (Google, Yahoo, Lycos). At first we showed up as #1 on them when searching for Beaver Harbour, but have moved down for some reason. It is strange science trying to get to the top!

May 7, 2002 - There is an upcoming PASTA SUPPER at the hall. We will be serving Lasagna, Spaghetti, Potato Salad, Rolls, Beverage, Dessert. The date is MAY 25, 2002 from 4:00 until 6:00. Adults $6.00, Children $4.00. Take Out will be available.

April 11, 2002 - I have been busy submitting BeaverHarbour.com to search engines, and it is starting to pay off. We are part of the Open Directory Project, which shows up as number two or three on Google, and Altavista shows us as #1 when searching for Beaver Harbour.

Also, BeaverHarbour.com now has EMAIL. You can get your own Address@BEAVERHARBOUR.COM. Send me an email to get set up. It can be used as WEBMAIL (like hotmail, or Yahoo Mail), or it can forward messages to your existing email account.

March 13, 2002 - The winner of the sweater donated by Ruth Steele was Julia Hawkins. She was visiting from PEI where she lives with her daughter Cheryl. Also, the winner of the Door Prize was Lillian Clark of St. George.

March 12, 2002 - BeaverHarbour.com is now on it's permanent home, I moved it off of my personal web page and it is now being hosted by Clickhost.net. I had to change the counter, and will be adding some cool stuff that I could not run before. Check out the weather link. You can come to BeaverHarbour.com to check out the weather forecast. Stay tuned for more new stuff!

February 25, 2002 - Wow, I didn't realize how long it has been since there has been an update! Well, I have lots to tell tonight, I got back from our meeting and there is a lot going on.

	On March 9, we are having a CHOWDER SUPPER. "All U Can Eat" Haddock and/or Corn chowder with rolls, tea or coffee, and dessert! This meal was out of this world last time, and has a great price of $5.00 for adults, or $3.00 for children under 12.
	We will also be having an EASTER PARTY! - Bring your kids out on Saturday, March 30th from 1:00 until 3:00. There will be games, sandwiches, Kool Aid, and an easter egg hunt. Come try out a new game we are going to be presenting at the party. Pin the Tail on the BEAVER!
	Artists, Check this out! We are offering a free, one page, website for Artists, Musicians, Poets, etc in the Beaver Harbour area. This would be a great place to showcase your abilities! Jeff Hawkins will be doing the setup of the page. We can take digital pictures, scan your work, make sound bites, etc. There are many options and all for FREE! Contact Me right away to make arrangements!
	Beaver Harbour Community Ventures is looking for a logo, we will be running a contest in the near future to find the best logo for our community. Beavers, Salmon, Fishing boats, lobsters, Lighthouses, or combinations of these are just examples of what we could use. Start thinking, and keep coming back to BEAVERHARBOUR.COM for details!

December 29, 2001 - Changed the layout a bit, it should make better use of space now. Moved the Newsletter to the BHCV Documents area. Removed the sound, it was cool for Christmas, but made the page take longer to load.

Congratulations to Rebecca Leavitt from Back Bay. She was the Winner of the Christmas Basket.

December 12, 2001 - It's been a while since my last update. I have been real busy, but will try to update on a more regular basis. If you have been here before, you will notice that the look of the page has changed a bit. I have added a small history of Beaver Harbour. It can be found in the BHCV Documents section, or by clicking HERE.

October 28, 2001 - Added 3 Pictures (Thanks John). Updated the calendar (Meeting of BHCV on Monday, Oct 29 and Nov 11 Memorial Service and lunch Info) See CALENDAR for details. The GUEST BOOK should now allow HTML Coding - If you had previously not been able to leave an entry because of this type of error, you should be able to make your entry now.

We are now starting to get a fair amount of traffic through the site and are considering allowing Businesses and Individuals to put their events on our event calendar for a moderate fee (Up to 3 Months in advance for $10.00) If you would like your event information on the Calendar, send me an email at jhawkins@nb.sympatico.ca.

If anyone has any pictures that they think would be nice to have on the website, let me know, I can scan them and give them back to you the same day (providing that you are in the local area!)

October 15, 2001 - We have concluded our annual meeting, and our officers have been elected for their next one year term. See the ABOUT US section for information on our Board. I also added the BHCV Documents section that has our annual report, and minutes from our last meeting in PDF format (minutes from other meetings will follow). I also added 5 pictures tonight, Check them out, and if you haven't signed the GUEST BOOK already, then sign up now and get emails about any changes to BeaverHarbour.com and events in the local area. You can also leave messages for the community or others on the MESSAGE BOARD

October 06, 2001 - Added 3 Pictures, Finally got the list of names for one of the pictures of the children. I need the names for the people in the two new pictures of the Advanced Dept. Added some information on Hugh Carl Paul (Thanks Chris). Also, removed September calendar and set the date of the craft sale to the proper date (Cindy and Mom kept confusing me about the date - That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :-)

October 05, 2001 - Added the Message Board. It will allow people to talk back and forth using messsages. A great chance to talk with relatives, friends, etc.

October 01, 2001 - Added a few pictures, I am going to scan a few more tonight, I may post them tonight if I get a chance. I see a few entries in the GUEST BOOK, keep them coming, If you put your email address on the guest book I will email you when I make changes to the page.

Many thanks to everyone who came to the supper. It was a huge success! I don't have the exact numbers, but we made well over $1000.00 It will help to keep the hall heated through the winter.

September 27, 2001 - Added the Guest Book. Sign up, and receive an email when the page is changed.

September 26, 2001 - Changed to a new format. The Page is now using frames instead of the old layout. Also, the picture archive is designed so that you can scroll through the list of thumbnails (the small pictures), and then select the one you want. Also, I added the "About Us" Section and added 2 more picture to the Archive. Note: This site is best viewed at 800x600 or higher resolution.

September 13, 2001—Added a few more pictures. Also added the NEWSLETTER. Just a note, the newsletter might take a couple of minutes to load, I will try to find a quicker way.

September 04, 2001—Added Picture Archive. Check it out, … many more to come.
